Während des Livestreams der Japan 2024 Champions League in Fukuoka wurde das zweite 2024-Set für Japan angekündigt. Es trägt den Namen SV5a Scarlet & Violet Enhanced Expansion Pack Crimson Haze und wird am 22. März 2024 veröffentlicht. Diese Erweiterung führt Bloodmoon Ursaluna in das Pokémon-Sammelkartenspiel (TCG) ein. Weitere Details und Kartenenthüllungen werden am zweiten Tag des Livestreams erwartet, Updates werden in den sozialen Medien geteilt.
Seit dem 18. Februar 2024 wurden neue Karten enthüllt, darunter Bloodmoon Usaluna ex, Iron Thorns ex und Scream Tail ex sowie reguläre Karten für Phione, Applin und Dipplin. Das SV5A-Set enthält außerdem neue Supporter-Karten, Perrin und Caretaker, sowie eine Stadionkarte, Community Center, von denen viele vom The Teal Mask DLC inspiriert sind.
Nachdrucke von Lucky Helmet und Enhanced Hammer wurden bestätigt, zusammen mit frühen Enthüllungen von Bloodmoon Usaluna ex SAR und Phione AR.
